I love making guitars from Cigar Boxes, and thought it would be fun to create a blog for those interested in tracking my progress, and see what's going on in the shop. If you are a potential customer, feel free to email me with any questions. Enjoy Life Through Music !!

Couple of Ukes Underway
Here's 2 necks that I'm making good progress on for a pair of Ukes. In the pic, you'll see a Maple Neck and Padauk Fretboard, as well as an Oak Neck with Walnut Skunk-stripe and a Bobinga Fretboard.
Pretty cool.

Figured Oak Necks
I took some Flatsawn Oak, cut it down the middle, glued it in a Quartersawn configuration. I'm anxious to see how these turn out. You can already see the Quartersawn Figuring in the grain! It will also make for a stronger neck with the grain running up and down.
Pair of Ukes in the Works
Two Tenor Ukes that are well underway. Everything is just a dry fit for now. Lots of sanding coming up.
