I love making guitars from Cigar Boxes, and thought it would be fun to create a blog for those interested in tracking my progress, and see what's going on in the shop. If you are a potential customer, feel free to email me with any questions. Enjoy Life Through Music !!

Vintage Box Finished up and ready for Customer
Finished up a commission job on a 4 String made from an old All Cedar Cigar Box. Not sure how old the box is, but it definitely has some years on it. We went with a vintage look on this one. This is a large box, and with that much volume, has a very nice tone when played acoustically. Likely shipping it off this week to it's "owner".

New Uke in the works at the shop!
This Uke is made with a Mahogany neck, and a Purpleheart Fretboard. Goes nice with the black box. Haven't decided on the soundhole design yet.
New Commission work underway
Currently working on a commissioned project to make a 4 string from an old cedar Cigar Box from Tampa (Thompson & Company). We're going for a vintage look on this one since the box is quite old. Mahogany neck with Bobinga Fretboard. Box has f-holes for that classic look.
